Interested in theater? A Letter to the Editor was recently published in the Perry Daily Journal looking for community members who have a love of theater in any aspect. After the disbanding of the Stagecoach Community Theatre due to lack of funds and other circumstances, there has been a void in the community. A new group, made up of previous Stagecoach Community members, is looking to fill that void and needs community support!
Vee Kennedy, of Perry, stated, "We need people who would be willing to be on the new Board of Directors. The Board would consist of a president, vice-president, treasurer, and secretary plus six or less board members. The Board would meet once a month to discuss productions, finances, advertising, play selections, and etc. The board would like to work closely with the Perry Chamber of Commerce, and Main Street of Perry to coordinate dates, events, and most of all, participation in any and all happenings around the Square."
Leadership Noble County works to develop talents for needs just like this! If any Alumni or current class members are interested, please reach out using the contact information below. The group is hoping to hear from interested parties by the end of October.
